Meet Our Preschool Teacher
Mrs. Kim May

We are extremely blessed to have such a dedicated and loving teacher as Mrs. May. With 19 years of experience in Christian education, she brings both wisdom and passion into the classroom. She has a true love for working with children and finds great joy in teaching. One of her greatest rewards is seeing the excitement in a student’s eyes when a new concept finally clicks.

Mrs. May enjoys working one-on-one with her students, helping them grow and develop essential skills at their own pace. Above all, her ultimate goal is to guide each child in building a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our goal is to prepare each student for a smooth and confident transition into K5. We focus on building foundational skills, classroom routines, and independence so students are ready to succeed in the next stage of their education.

We use the well-known Abeka curriculum, which provides a structured, phonics-based approach to learning while keeping a strong biblical foundation at the center of education.

Students are introduced to key subjects through engaging, age-appropriate instruction:
-
Bible: Learning about God’s Word and developing Christian character
-
Phonics: Early reading skills and letter recognition
-
Math: Basic number concepts and problem-solving skills

Our preschool students also participate in a variety of specials that enrich their learning experience:
-
Gym: Developing coordination and physical skills
-
Music: Encouraging creativity and rhythm
-
Art: Exploring creativity and self-expression
-
Chapel: Worship, Bible lessons, and spiritual growth
